Getting Started
This quick tutorial walks you through the core flow: upload → settings → editor → export. It links to deeper guides so you can dive in when ready.
Contents
1) Upload an image
Open the Classic Editor and upload a PNG/JPG/JPEG/BMP image (or a .schematic file). On the Start screen you can click Upload File or drag-and-drop.
Tip: Large images will be previewed efficiently. You can crop later in Settings.
Shortcut: Open the Classic Editor.
2) Adjust your canvas
Choose a block set:
- All — uses every supported block.
- Survival — excludes blocks not obtainable in survival (excl. The End).
- Custom — manually select blocks via the table and filter.
Set Width/Height. With the link enabled, values stay proportional. The “= blocks” counter updates live.
Enable Crop Image to frame the portion you want. The crop tool initializes after the preview renders for accuracy.
3) Edit and refine
Use the toolbar or keyboard shortcuts:
- P Pencil • B Brush • U Bucket • E Eyedropper
- Z Zoom • G Grab • O Toggle original
- Ctrl+Z/Ctrl+Y Undo/Redo • [/] Brush size
- Arrow keys to nudge the canvas view
The right panel stays on a single row and scales by breakpoints to avoid wrapping. Performance is tuned for large images.
4) Export
Select an export mode in Convert:
- Command Block — multi-page commands ready for a command block.
- .mcfunction — download a function file; name is editable.
- Raw — plain text commands for manual use.
- Manual — block counts table for hand building.
Set game version and facing. If you edit the image later, a “Reconvert?” prompt helps you refresh output.
